Lindsey Gaterman here—everyone calls me Gater. I’m a former editor-turned-fitness instructor, event host, and public speaker.

To put it simply: I teach people how to find joy in the life they’re living.

Health, fitness, and my overall well-being have definitely not always been important to me. In fact, there was a time in my life where my favorite food was pulled pork, I avoided the gym at all costs, and in all honesty, I was seemingly negative. Fast-forward to today, finding veganism, getting laid off from my corporate job, and making the decision to pursue health and fitness full-time changed my life for the better.

I’m a passionate teacher and forever student. The more I learn about things that make me feel amazing, the more I can share my findings with anyone who’s interested. I mean, who doesn’t want to feel amazing, ya know?

I currently live in New York where I’m a fitness instructor, wellness writer and event host, vegan foodie, and frequent restaurant-goer. (I love finding new vegan recipes to prepare, but the NYC restaurant scene is my shit.)

I view life as a never-ending mission to pursue passions, live with real-time purpose, and help the people around me feel amazing. Anything else that happens is just an added bonus.
